This Privacy Policy explains what information FitTally ("FitTally," "we," "us," or "our") collects when you use the FitTally mobile application (the "App"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

Account information. When you create a FitTally account, we collect your email address and a password (handled securely by our authentication provider) or, if you sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides.
Health and fitness information you provide. This is the core of what FitTally does, so we collect it directly from you: the foods and meals you log, calorie and macronutrient targets, your logged body weight and weight goals, and your activity within the app (such as streaks).
Photos. When you use FitTally's photo-scan feature, we process the photo you take of your meal to identify foods and estimate nutrition. Photos are sent to our AI processing provider (see "Who we share information with" below) for analysis and are stored as part of your food log so you can review past entries.
Purchase and subscription information. If you subscribe to FitTally Pro, Apple processes your payment directly — FitTally does not see or store your full payment card details. We (through our subscription management provider) receive information about your subscription status, such as whether you're subscribed and when your subscription renews.
Usage information. We may collect basic technical information about how you use the app (such as crash reports or general usage patterns) to help us fix bugs and improve the app.
We use the information above to: provide FitTally's core features (logging meals, AI meal recognition, tracking progress, calculating streaks); process and manage your subscription; maintain, secure, and improve the app; and respond to you when you contact us for support.
We do not use your health or fitness data to serve you advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share information only with the service providers who help us run FitTally, and only as needed for them to do that job:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FitTally, our users, or others.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, so the app can function (for example, so your food history and progress charts stay intact). If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required to keep certain records for legal or accounting purposes.
You can review and edit most of your information directly in the app. You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by contacting us at fittallysupport@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); contact us and we'll do our best to honor applicable requests.
FitTally is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage and transmission through our service providers. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the app or by other reasonable means before the changes take effect.
